“I began working full time in transcription to make up the difference. That time showed me I could make the same, if not more, money than I had been making before,” she said.

That realization changed everything. Jennifer decided to leave her corporate position and build a full-time transcription career.

Freedom, Flexibility, and Fulfillment

Today, Jennifer contracts with two companies and serves two private clients, choosing when—and how much—she wants to work.

“Now I make my own schedule,” she said. “If I want to work at 5 a.m. or 5 p.m., it’s totally up to me. If I’m sick or the dogs need to go to the vet, I can adjust. Having that kind of freedom is a game changer.”

She typically works 30–34 hours per week, earns more than she did at her corporate job, and enjoys a healthier work-life balance.
